Last week, our colleagues attended two prestigious events in Europe.

In Estonia, Sandi, Klara and Primož attended the FOSS4G Europe 2024 conference in Tartu. The event, organised by the Open Source Geospatial Foundation (OSGeo), brought together developers, users and advocates of free and open source geographic software from all over the world. Our experts had the opportunity to participate in discussions on the latest developments in geoinformation technologies and to learn from international experts. The conference highlighted the importance of open standards and data in solving societal and environmental problems such as logistics, transport, infrastructure planning and disaster response.

In Spain: Katja and Barbara attended the 19th International 3D GeoInfo Conference and the 31st International EG-ICE Workshop on Intelligent Computing in Engineering, both held at the University of Vigo. The 3D GeoInfo conference discussed the latest advances in 3D geoinformation science and technologies, while the EG-ICE workshop brought together experts to explore the interface between advanced computing and modern engineering challenges. Participants focused on solving complex engineering problems using advanced computing technologies and methods.

Participating in these events has been a great opportunity for our professionals to gain new knowledge, connect with the global community and contribute to sustainable development. We look forward to sharing the knowledge and experience with our partners and customers, as we believe that together we can achieve even greater successes.
