At Flycom Technologies, we want to strengthen the role of a key player in the field of airborne and mobile remote sensing in Europe and become a leading regional player in the segment of GIS software solutions. We are aware that the development of employee’s competencies and knowledge, technological improvements and upgrading of business processes are of key importance for the successful realization of our mission and vision, which can also be described as digital transformation of the company.
To facilitate our position as a leader in innovative development and integrated geospatial data management in the European market, we have successfully obtained funding for the purchase of a new, technologically advanced metric system for remote data capture and computing infrastructure for the further development of artificial intelligence and machine learning algorithms under the “Incentives for the Digital Transformation of SMEs (P4D ReactEU)”, awarded by the Slovenian Enterprise Fund under the European Cohesion Policy in Slovenia. Through co-financing of the Digital Transformation operation, we will also establish new software for spatial data processing and, through various activities, ensure greater cyber security of the company.
As part of the digital transformation, the company has set sixteen specific goals to improve the experience of our customers, improve the efficiency of collection, processing and visualization of spatial data, upgrade processes and digital solutions to support business, introduce new digital business models, support development of digital competencies of our employees, improved cyber security in the company and became an example of good practice in the field of implementation of “Industry 4.0” projects.
The investment is financed by the Republic of Slovenia and the European Union from the European Regional Development Fund within the framework of the Union’s response to the COVID-19 pandemic.
