Between 2023 and 2025, Flycom Technologies carried out data acquisition as part of the project “Cyclic Laser Scanning of Slovenia (CLSS).”
The aerial acquisition of LiDAR data and RGB+NIR imagery was conducted in three phases:
- Phase 1: Central Slovenia – Ljubljana, Kamnik, Novo mesto, Kočevje;
- Phase 2: Eastern Slovenia – Celje, Velenje, Maribor, Murska Sobota;
- Phase 3: Western Slovenia – Jesenice, Nova Gorica, Postojna, Koper.
The animation illustrates the temporal progression of the data acquisition, while the second visualization highlights the complexity of the process, where each color represents a single day of acquisition.
The collected data were delivered to the Surveying and Mapping Authority of the Republic of Slovenia (GURS).
