In early August, devastating floods struck Slovenia, significantly altering the landscape of several regions in the country. In an effort to provide transparency and assist in damage assessment, Flycom Technologies conducted aerial laser and photogrammetric surveys of the affected areas.
Our team of experts captured images of the areas most affected by the floods just a few days after the event, once the weather had calmed sufficiently to allow safe flights. The collected data was then processed in collaboration with nFrames, a company specialized in geolocation data processing.
We are pleased to announce that the images are freely accessible through the GeoHub-SI web portal. A comparison of the conditions before and after the disaster, as well as insights from an aerial perspective, were also featured on the 24.ur portal.”
