On October 15 and 16, the 53rd GEODETIC DAY took place in Čatež ob Savi.
Interesting exhibitor presentations, professional networking and comprehensive lectures, which this year focused on the theme of geodesy and energy.
As part of the lectures on the topic of energy in space, Anže Žnidaršič represented us with the lecture “Energetic Digital Twin: from massive data acquisition to modeling, visualization, and analysis” (co-authors: Katja Šušteršič, Tinkara Langus from Flycom Technologies, d.o.o., and Roman Tomažič and colleagues from ELES, d.o.o.).
Tinkara Langus, as part of the lectures on the topic of registering energy infrastructure, presented “Solar Potential for Energy Solutions: from spatial data to implementational analysis” (co-authors: Anže Žnidaršič from Flycom Technologies and colleagues from Petrol, d.d.).
We also participated as co-authors of the lecture “National Geospatial Digital Twins – challenges for the official spatial information infrastructure” (authors: prof. dr. Anka Lisec, doc. dr. Jernej Tekavec, and colleagues from UL FGG).
