{"id":17994,"date":"2026-04-29T10:50:49","date_gmt":"2026-04-29T08:50:49","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/flycom.si\/delovno-mesto\/lidar-and-photogrammetric-data-processing-engineer\/"},"modified":"2026-04-30T13:59:18","modified_gmt":"2026-04-30T11:59:18","slug":"lidar-and-photogrammetric-data-processing-engineer","status":"publish","type":"prosta-delovna-mesta","link":"https:\/\/flycom.si\/en\/delovno-mesto\/lidar-and-photogrammetric-data-processing-engineer\/","title":{"rendered":"LiDAR and Photogrammetric Data Processing Engineer"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>In the remote sensing department, we are looking to strengthen our team with assistance in data processing for aerial laser scanning and aerophotogrammetry.<\/p>\n\n<p><strong>The work will cover a wide range of areas:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>processing airborne laser scanning data and creating basic products such as georeferenced and classified point clouds, digital terrain models (DTM) and digital surface models (DSM);<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>processing aerial photographs and aerotriangulation, 2D\/3D digitization, production of (true) orthophotos, and creation of photogrammetric point clouds;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>quality control of various data acquisition phases and final products, as well as report preparation.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<p>During your work, you will become familiar with the use of various software tools such as GrafNav, AeroOffice, Applanix POSPac, RiProcess, IGIPlan, Topoflight, TerraSolid, LAStools, MATCH-AT, SURE, ESRI, FME, QGIS and GDAL.<\/p>\n\n<p><strong>What do we expect?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>A degree in geodesy and geoinformatics is preferred; candidates from related fields involving spatial data processing are also encouraged to apply.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Since the work is very diverse and varied, candidates are expected to be willing to learn and gradually master a wide spectrum of remote sensing data acquisition and processing. Both <strong>initiative and a willingness to learn and pursue further education<\/strong> are extremely important. <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Basic knowledge of GIS software (working with spatial data \u2013 raster and vector).<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Good spatial awareness and understanding of spatial data.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Active knowledge of the <strong>English language<\/strong> (written and spoken).
