Katja Šušteršič, Project Manager in the Remote Sensing Department, is a member of the MSGeo Working Group on Digitisation in Construction Industry. The working group was established within the Parent Section of Surveyors (MSGeo) at the Slovenian Chamber of Engineers to define the role of the geodesist, the geodetic profession and their contribution to improve digitisation in the construction sector.
The digital transformation of construction sector is a process that is fundamentally linked to the geodetic profession. Geodetic data are present in all steps of registration, spatial planning, life-cycle monitoring of construction projects and real estate valuation.
