# Become a Backend engineer (PHP) at Flycom Technologies

At Flycom Technologies we are developing our own online geographic information system LIFT, with which we ensure that our customers have available innovative location intelligence for integrated spatial data management. What are we looking for?

  • an individual with a degree in computer, technical, natural science or other relevant fields,
  • at least 2 years of experience in developing PHP applications (Laravel framework or other) , REST APIs and relational databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, etc.),
  • basic knowledge in administration Linux servers (ssh, nginx, php-fpm, etc.),
  • knowledge of the latest trends and best practices in the field of web software development,
  • a curious, proactive and self-initiated person,
  • good knowledge of the English language and
  • ability to work on open-ended tasks where it is necessary to delve deeper into the domain and technology.

Advantages:

  • Knowledge of Patterns (CQRS, DDD, ES, etc.), PostgreSQL with PostGIS., Ansible, JavaScript (NodeJS),
  • Python with an emphasis on tools for working with data and spatial data and
  • knowledge of algorithms relevant to spatial analysis.
