In a consortium with the Austrian company IBV-KRANK, this spring we started with the implementation of the project “Airborne laser scanning and production of a digital terrain model of Austrian federal states of Carinthia and Styria”. The client is the Federal Office of Calibration and Surveying Services (BEV), which is at the same time a representative of both federal states and the Federal Ministry of Agriculture, Regions, and Tourism. The final product of this two-year project is, alongside of ALS of approximately 7000 km2, classified point cloud and the elaboration of the digital terrain model of two southern Austrian states.
